The Msasani Peninsula, Oyster Bay, and Masaki areas are safe and walkable, with restaurants and bars on foot. The city centre (Kariakoo, downtown) is fine in daylight but crowded — keep your phone in your pocket. At night, use Bolt or a trusted taxi. Don't walk on beaches alone after dark.

Msasani is basically a holiday resort neighbourhood. Completely safe, great food, tourists everywhere.
